SUMMARYThis person is a member of a crew that operates two production lines.
You will work with your shift to safely produce high quality product in a fast pace continuous operation environment.
The expectation is qualifying in all back-end operations, set up and maintain alignment in cooling section while maintaining the highest level of Safety Standards.
Responsibilities:
Lives the Owens Corning Safety Standard and meets all safety requirements.
Safety is a condition of employment.
Participates in plant TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives - completing activities associated with TPM tasks.
Perform quality checksVisually inspect raw materials and ensure that finished product meets quality specifications.
Monitor and report unusual or suspect material issuesRequirements:
Operate unwind station & unwind rackHave a basic knowledge of coater system and facer backerManufacturing or process related experience preferred.
Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate.
Can and is willing to make decisions.
Knows the chain of command to get support.
Regular attendance on site and the ability to rotate varying shifts.
